Write On?

Haven't posted in a while. I've been dealing with some personal issues that have pretty much shut down my whole life. Starting to see a little light again. Question. How does one find the inspiration to write again after a personal loss when it's hard to do the normal mundane daily life stuff? Seeking inspiration. Thanks.

When the shock wears off... try journaling. Maybe that will help. I've missed your blogging and hope life gets easier for you.

Write on? You will. If you've started young writing screenplays, not matter what, you will always go back to it.

I think that the best way to approach it is to write about the loss. Those emtions are very real right now, and you can capture them in a way that you won't be able to in a few months. Incorporate your feelings into your screenplays.

Before the loss(which I am sorry to hear about) you wrote for pleasure? release? enjoyment? the challenge? the thrill?

All good reasons to do so again.....maybe just don't force any high expectations on yourself for a while.

It takes time to go back to being close to whatever was normal.

cheers
Dave.
